Pinnacle Dryer Corp. was established in 1994 to service the hand dryer market with quality products and a promise to give quick and satisfying service to our customers.

Ed Smith and Kim Gavrelis

Ed Smith started the company with a single line of surface-mounted hand dryers. He began marketing it to schools, convenience stores, restaurants, and DOT rest stops. Customers liked the dryer but schools kept asking for a more vandal-resistant hand dryer. In 1998, after consulting with engineers, Pinnacle introduced the ADA compliant, stainless steel PDC-R10 Recessed Hand Dryer. In 2006, Pinnacle added the ADA compliant, stainless steel P3-12S Surface Hand Dryer.

In 1998, Ed's daughter, Kim Gavrelis, joined the company as a sales representative for the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2010, she moved home to NC and began assisting with the day-to-day operations at Pinnacle Dryer, while continuing her sales role. In 2012, Kim was promoted to VP Sales & Operations.
